Annaprasana Photography in Bangalore
Also called Rice Ceremony · Annaprashan · Choroonu · Mukhe Bhat · First Feeding
One-stop decor & catering for your weddingfrom ₹15,000The first spoon of payasam, the face that cannot decide between delight and shock, the tray of objects the baby crawls towards — Annaprasana gives you the most expressive baby photographs you will ever own. We shoot the rice ceremony across Bangalore with a second camera locked on the baby's face throughout.
Rice ceremonies in Bangalore are usually held at home or in a small hall with warm indoor light. We bounce soft light off the ceiling so the baby is never startled by a flash, and shoot from the child's eye level rather than standing over them.

Annaprasana Photography FAQs
How much does Annaprasana photography cost in Bangalore?
Rice ceremony photography starts at ₹8,000 for 3 hours with 150+ edited photos. ₹15,000 adds a cinematographer and a 60-second reel; ₹25,000 covers a full day with an album. GST is extra.
When is Annaprasana usually performed?
Most Bangalore families hold it in the baby's 6th month for boys and 5th or 7th month for girls, on a date fixed by the family priest. Book us 3-4 weeks ahead — these dates cluster on weekends and fill quickly during the festival season.
Will the flash disturb the baby?
We do not fire direct flash at infants. We work with fast lenses and soft bounced light, so the baby stays comfortable and the photos keep the natural warmth of the room.
Can you combine Annaprasana with a first birthday shoot?
Yes, and many families do. Tell us both events when you enquire and we will quote a combined package rather than two separate shoots.
