South Indian Wedding Photography in Bangalore
Nichayathartham to Saptapadi — ritual-by-ritual coverage by photographers who know when to step back and when to step forward.
We've shot 250+ South Indian weddings across Bangalore — Iyer, Iyengar, Reddy, Naidu, Gowda, Lingayat, Nair and Syrian Christian. Every ceremony has a sequence; every sequence has a frame. Our job is to know both before the priest does.

What we cover, in the order the ceremony runs
The sequence we know — and the frame we always make sure we own.
Nichayathartham / Engagement
Brass-lamp lit, often at home — we shoot in available light, no flash, intimate two-shooter coverage.
Mehndi & Sangeet
Open lawn or banquet hall, golden-hour to night transition. Pre-walked light positions, prime lenses for stage.
Kashi Yatra
Outdoor ritual, the most photogenic comedy moment of the wedding. We position 2 cameras — one wide, one tight.
Muhurtham & Mangalsutra Dharanam
6–8 AM peak. Second camera locked on the bride's hands. The most-zoomed-into frame of the album.
Saptapadi & Sthalipakam
Around the homam fire — 35mm prime, low ISO, ambient light. Shot continuous, never interrupted.
Reception & First Look
Stage portraits, family group photos pre-planned with a printed shot list reviewed with parents.

South Indian wedding photography — your questions
Do you understand Tamil Iyer / Iyengar / Telugu / Kannada / Malayali rituals?
Yes — across 250+ South Indian weddings. We hold a 30-min ritual walkthrough with you and the family priest 1 week before the wedding, and bring a printed sequence sheet on the day so we never miss a key moment like the Mangalya Dharanam, Sthalipakam or Pradhana Homam.
Can you shoot a 6 AM Muhurtham without flash?
Yes. Sony A7 IV bodies + fast prime lenses let us shoot ambient at ISO 3200 cleanly. We never use direct flash during a ritual unless the family explicitly asks — it kills the atmosphere and is disrespectful around the homam.
Do you cover multi-day weddings — Nichayathartham at home + Muhurtham at venue?
Yes. Most of our Bangalore South Indian weddings are 2–3 days. We send a senior 2-camera team to each event, share a 60-sec teaser reel within 24 hours of each day, and assemble the final film + album once the wedding closes.
What is your starting price for South Indian wedding photography in Bangalore?
₹65,000 for a single-day Muhurtham + reception with 2 photographers and 1 cinematographer. Multi-day weddings start ₹1.25L. Final quote depends on coverage days, deliverables (album, film length, reels) and number of locations.
