A tiny hand held steady over a plate of rice, tracing the first letter. Aksharabhyasa and Karnavedha are small, quiet ceremonies — which is exactly why they need a photographer who stays close and unobtrusive rather than directing the room.
These ceremonies are often held at home or at temples like Shringeri Shankara Math or the Basavanagudi Bull Temple, usually before noon. We work handheld with no rearranging of the pooja space.

How much does Aksharabhyasa photography cost in Bangalore?
Coverage starts at ₹8,000 for 3 hours with 150+ edited photos. ₹15,000 adds a cinematographer and a cinematic reel. GST is extra.
Do you cover ear-piercing (Karnavedha) on the same day?
Yes. Many families combine Aksharabhyasa with Karnavedha or a small homa. Mention both when booking and we plan the timeline and second camera position around the sequence.
Can you shoot inside a temple?
Where the temple permits photography, yes. We check the rules with the temple office ahead of the date and shoot with silent shutters and no flash inside the sanctum area.
How long does the ceremony take?
Usually 45-90 minutes of ritual with lunch afterwards. Our 3-hour package covers a typical ceremony comfortably, including family portraits.
