What wedding decorators in Bangalore actually charge
Most Bengaluru weddings with 250 guests land between ₹85,000 and ₹1.6 lakh for decor across two functions. Below ₹50,000 you are buying a stage backdrop and an entrance and nothing else. Above ₹2.5 lakh you are paying for imported florals, hanging installations and lighting design — real production, not more balloons. The single biggest lever is fresh versus artificial florals: the same mandap can swing by ₹60,000 on that choice alone, and on camera the difference shows only in close-ups.
Why decor and photography should be one booking
We came to decor from twelve years of photographing weddings, and it changed how we build. Backdrops get depth so they do not flatten under flash. Stage seating leaves a clean shooting lane. Uplighting is warm enough for skin tones instead of the magenta that ruins most reception photos. When you book both, the combined quote drops 15% and you stop mediating between two vendors at 6am on the wedding morning.
Venues and timelines
We work in convention centres, kalyana mantapas, farmhouses, resorts and hotel banquets across Bengaluru, plus outstation venues in Mysore, Coorg, Chikmagalur and Goa. Most venues release the hall 8 to 14 hours before the muhurat; large mandaps need that full window. Book four to six weeks ahead for a normal date and eight to ten weeks for peak muhurat dates in November, December, January and May.
Common questions
How much do wedding decorators charge in Bangalore?
Single-function decor starts around ₹45,000. Two-to-three function weddings for 250–500 guests typically run ₹1.25 lakh to ₹1.8 lakh, and full multi-day productions with imported florals and lighting design start at ₹2.75 lakh.
How far ahead should I book?
Four to six weeks for most dates, eight to ten weeks for peak muhurat dates in November, December, January and May, when both crews and floral supply tighten.
Do you handle outstation and destination weddings?
Yes — Mysore, Coorg, Chikmagalur, Ooty and Goa regularly. Outstation adds transport, an extra build day and crew accommodation, typically ₹15,000 upward.
Can I see the design before the wedding?
Signature and Full Production packages include a concept board with colour story, and Full Production includes a 3D render of the stage and mandap before we start sourcing.
Do you also arrange catering and makeup?
Yes. Catering, makeup artists, entertainment and photography all sit under the same booking, one quote and one invoice, with a single coordinator on the day.
What is the discount if I book photography too?
15% off the combined quote when decor and photography are booked together, and one crew handling both, which is why the setups photograph better.
Still deciding how it should look?
Look-by-look guides with price bands, setup timings and the venue rules behind each build.
Everything else the day needs
Booked together, it all lands on one quote, one invoice and one crew on the day.
Want it photographed too?
Decor and photography booked together save 15% on the combined quote — and we build the setup knowing exactly how it needs to light.
