A marigold curtain is priced per kilo of genda and per running foot of string — a 10 ft backdrop in fresh flowers costs more than a 20 ft fabric-and-fairy-light wall. Tuberose, orchids and imported fillers can triple the same design. If your budget is fixed, we keep the fresh flowers in the frame the camera sees and use fabric everywhere else.
Most Bengaluru apartment associations refuse nails, adhesive and open flame in common areas, and many close clubhouse access by 10 pm. We work off freestanding frames and weighted bases so nothing touches the wall, and we schedule takedown the same night. For terraces we always add wind ballast — an unweighted 8 ft frame will go over by mid-morning.
Haldi runs early. That means our crew loads in between 4:30 and 6 am for a 9 am muhurat, and the flowers are strung on-site so they are not wilted by the time guests arrive. Book the setup at least 4 days ahead if you want fresh genda in a specific shade — bulk marigold at Kalasipalya moves fast during peak wedding weeks.
When we shoot the haldi as well, the decor is built for the frame: the backdrop faces the light, the seating is angled for two-person portraits, and there is a clean two-foot gap behind the couple for the photographer to move. Booking both together also takes 15% off the decor line on the same quote.

How much does haldi decoration cost in Bangalore?
A simple marigold backdrop with seating starts around ₹6,000. Terrace canopies and floral swings land between ₹18,000 and ₹40,000, and a full mantapa build with entrance and pathway florals runs ₹45,000–₹65,000.
Can you do a haldi setup in an apartment?
Yes — most of our haldi work is inside apartments and clubhouses. We use freestanding frames, weighted bases and floor covers so nothing is drilled or stained, and we clear the setup the same night.
How much notice do you need?
48 hours for a standard backdrop, 4–5 days if you want a specific flower shade or a custom canopy. Same-day is possible for smaller setups when the crew is free.
Do you handle the photography too?

Will fresh flowers last through the function?
Marigold holds all morning. Tuberose and rose are strung on-site the same morning and misted before guests arrive; we avoid them entirely for afternoon functions on open terraces.
