What makes the price go up or down?
Five factors explain almost every difference between two quotes for the same-looking event.
Guest count
Catering is per plate, so guest count moves the bill more than anything else. Going from 100 to 200 guests at ₹700 a plate adds ₹70,000 before any decor changes.
Fresh flowers vs balloons
Balloon and fabric setups hold their price all year. Fresh floral work swings 30–60% in wedding season (November–February and April–May) because market rates spike.
Venue rules
Halls with no-nail policies, short load-in windows or mandatory in-house catering add labour hours or force a costlier caterer. Apartment clubhouses are usually the cheapest to work in.
Setup window
A same-day morning build for a mid-day function needs a bigger crew than an overnight build, which adds ₹3,000–₹10,000 in labour.
Bundling

How much advance is needed to block a date?
A booking advance blocks the date and pays for flowers, fabric and printed props ordered ahead of it. The balance is due on the day of the event. Date changes are free wherever the crew is available on the new date.
Can I reduce the cost without cutting the look?
Yes — three levers work reliably: use balloons and fabric instead of fresh flowers for the backdrop, keep fresh flowers only on the stage and entrance where photos happen, and bundle decor with photography for the 15% combined discount. Trimming the guest list by 20 saves more than any decor change.
