Naming & Cradle Ceremony Decoration in Bangalore

Naamkaran and cradle ceremonies are short, early and crowded with family — so the decor has to be finished before the priest arrives and gentle enough for a newborn in the room. Here are the cradle setups we build across Bengaluru, what each costs, and the practical details (heat, scent, noise) most decorators ignore.

Design around the baby, not the camera

No strong-scent flowers near the cradle — heavy tuberose and lily in a closed room will unsettle a newborn. We keep fragrance at the entrance and use rose, chrysanthemum and greens close in. Same rule for lighting: no bare LED bars pointed at the cradle, only diffused warm sources so the baby is not squinting through the muhurat.

The install window is the real constraint

Most naming ceremonies start between 7 and 9 am, so we load in the previous evening wherever the venue allows and finish florals from 4:30 am. In apartments where the association blocks night access, we build the frames off-site and assemble them in under two hours on the morning itself.

    What a fair quote includes

Cradle rental, the floral work, the name board, the backdrop, install labour and same-day takedown should all be on one line. Watch for quotes that exclude the cradle or bill the name board separately — those add ₹2,000–₹4,000 later. Ours is a single fixed number confirmed before we load in.

    Pair it with the shoot

Naming ceremonies move fast and the cradle moment happens once. When our photography team is on the same booking we position the cradle with a clean background and a lit path for the handover shot — and the decor line drops 15% on the combined quote.

Decor + photography together saves 15%

FrameFusion is a photography studio first. Book coverage and decor on the same quote and the decor line drops 15% — one crew, one invoice, one point of contact.

Before you book a naamkaran setup

    • Fix the muhurat time first — it sets the install window
    • Tell us if there is a homam so we keep the layout fire-safe
    • Avoid strong-scent flowers in a closed room with the baby
    • Confirm whether the cradle is yours or rented from us
    • Plan a return-gift or dessert table if guests exceed 40
    • Check lift access and parking for the 4:30 am load-in

    Common questions

How much does cradle ceremony decoration cost in Bangalore?

A classic decorated cradle corner starts at ₹5,500. Floral arch setups run ₹12,000–₹20,000, traditional South Indian builds ₹18,000–₹28,000, and a full hall function ₹28,000–₹40,000.

    Do you provide the cradle?

Yes — wooden and cane cradles are available on rent and included in the quoted price. You can also use a family cradle and we will dress it.

Can you set up before a 7 am muhurat?

Yes. We load in the previous evening where the venue allows, or start florals from 4:30 am on the morning itself so everything is finished an hour before the priest arrives.

Is a homam layout safe with floral decor?

We keep a clear radius around the kunda, use non-synthetic drapes near the fire and place all fabric elements downwind. Tell us at booking so the layout is planned for it.
